🕳️ Confined-Space Atmospheric Testing Log & Entry Permit

Record timestamped pre-entry and periodic atmospheric tests — O₂, LEL, CO and H₂S — with automatic pass/fail against OSHA acceptance limits and the correct test order (oxygen → combustible → toxic), then build a complete permit-required confined space entry permit with isolation, ventilation, rescue plan and sign-offs. Aligned to OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146, 1926 Subpart AA, NIOSH and ANSI/ASSP Z117.1. Exports to Word, CSV and print.

Always test in this order — the meter must be allowed to settle for each gas:

1 · Oxygen (O₂) 2 · Combustible gas (LEL) 3 · Toxic gases (CO, H₂S)

⚠️ This tool generates a template entry permit and atmospheric-testing log aligned to OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146 (Permit-Required Confined Spaces), 1926 Subpart AA (construction), NIOSH guidance and ANSI/ASSP Z117.1. It does not replace a qualified competent-person hazard assessment, a calibrated direct-reading instrument, or your site's permit system. Acceptance limits shown (O₂ 19.5–23.5%, LEL <10%, CO <35 ppm, H₂S <10 ppm) are common defaults — verify the values, alarm set-points and ceiling limits required by your jurisdiction and SDS. Never enter on a "DO NOT ENTER" result; ventilate, re-test and confirm before entry, and re-test continuously or periodically during occupancy.
